Lawyer I received my Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki in 1993. I performed my court training in Helsinki district court in 1995-1996. I have worked as an associate lawyer in the law office of Matti Wuori from 1997 to 1998. I was accepted as a member of the Finnish Bar Association in January 1998. I started as a lawyer at our firm at the autumn of 1998. Since then I have worked (almost) daily with criminal law, family law (child custody, visiting rights, maintenance etc.) and immigration law cases. I work in Finnish and in English and partly also in French and Swedish. In addition to my main fields of practice I take care of all kinds of civil cases of private persons (rental agreements, restraining orders etc.). I have experience in assisting both victims and defendants in all kinds of criminal cases. My hobbies are travelling, outdoor activities with my family and enjoying many forms of art (from rock music to works of the expressionists). I am interested in children's rights, protecting the families, the nature and the human rights of everyone. I have earlier done voluntarily work with Victim Support Finland (Rikosuhripäivystys).
